PE and Sport Premium
Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
At Salehurst Church of England Primary School we aim to provide enriched sporting provision, both through excellent PE teaching and through the appropriate level of competitive sporting opportunities.
We also sign up to The Hastings & Rother School Games Partnership (HRSGP) annually and from this receive both high quality pupil and staff training in PE/Sport and competitive opportunities in a range of events. School Sports Coordinator, Jane Dallaway from Robertsbridge Community College delivers Sports Leader training and inter school sports competitions in the Robertsbridge Cluster, which Salehurst attends. These range from Cross Country, Netball, Football, Sports Hall Athletics, Badminton, Gymnastics, Multi skills, Basketball, Cricket, Swimming and Quad Kids Athletics. This gives many different pupils the opportunity to represent the school and over the last 2 years has ensured Salehurst have received the “Gold” School Games Mark, a nationally recognised award for the delivery of high quality PE/Sport.
We welcome the Government's additional PE & Sports Funding for Primary Schools, please see the document below for guidance as to how this funding has been used at our school.
