Information for Parents
At Salehurst we understand the importance of regular communication between teachers and parents. Parent consultation evenings, where you can discuss your child’s progress, are held in the autumn and spring terms, and you will receive a full written report each year.
We have an ‘open door’ policy, and encourage parents to speak to teachers, who are normally available each day after school, about any problems or concerns. If necessary, we will then make a formal appointment to discuss the issue in more detail. We are keen to remind parents that, as well as addressing problems, meetings are also opportunities to discuss achievements and celebrate success! We also use regular newsletters to keep parents informed and we hold many open sessions over the year, which all parents are welcome to attend.
